Natalie Ballard

Nat Ballard has lived in Penrith all her life, and she believes that local clients don’t care about marble reception areas or whether she answers their calls when she is in an office, at home or watching her kids play sport.  She knew that she could give her clients value without paying for the overheads of a traditional law firm.

Since May 2000 Nat has been working in law firms.  She began her legal career in Parramatta in banking and finance law, before going to the city to work for Maurice Blackburn (a large firm) in class action litigation focusing on complex product liability litigation in Australia and the United States of America.  She then moved into banking and finance litigation, working for the major banks and advising on back end document preparation as well as enforcement and litigation.

Nat moved her career to the suburbs in 2009 and enjoys using her extensive experience to help Penrith locals with their legal problems.

Nat lives in Penrith with her partner and three kids and is heavily involved in the local community.  She is a Director for Western Sydney Business Centre, she sits on the Board for Penrith Giants Junior AFL Club and Luke Priddis Foundation, and she is President and creator of Penrith Lady Lawyers.

She strives to help you with the bank, real estate agents, the other party and all the finer details of actually transferring the property.  She explains things in plain English. Like all of us at Novus, Teresa can come to her clients to take instructions or get documents signed at a time that suits you.  This week she met a client at their work so that they could sign a Transfer and she could certify their documents.  Being location independent works well for Novus employees and for Novus clients.

Teresa has been a Licensed Conveyancer since October 2015, after working in different aspects of the property industry she decided she wanted to get her own independent qualification and so she obtained her qualifications in Conveyancing Law & Practice from Macquarie University. Teresa is a member of the NSW Australian Institute of Conveyancing (AIC) and is PEXA Certified in the electronic settlement systems. Teresa has been a Justice of the Peace since January 2012 and is a member of the NSW Justices Association.

Born and raised in Penrith, Teresa knows the area well and is now raising her own 3 children in the area.
